Role Context:

As our Employee Relations Manager, you are the go-to expert for employees and leaders across Germany and Poland on labor law and HR-related questions. You provide clarity in complex situations, make fair and well-informed decisions, and combine legal expertise with empathy. You are a trusted sparring partner for leaders and a key driver in shaping AniCura’s Employee Relations strategy – always in line with the Mars principles.

What You’ll Do:

• Handle labor law cases confidently and compliantly – from disciplinary actions and warnings to terminations and conflict resolution.

• Advise leaders on performance management and separation processes, including legal guidance on terminations, severance, and transition support.

• Train leaders and teams on labor law best practices.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal advisors, and authorities to minimize risk and ensure compliance.

• Play a key role in transformation projects (e.g., restructuring, M&A integrations, changes in working conditions) while ensuring alignment with AniCura and Mars values.

Who You Are :

• You hold a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or equivalent professional experience.

• You bring several years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or HR Business Partnering with a focus on labor law.

• You have experience working with international stakeholders or across multiple countries.

• You are proactive, empathetic, and solution-oriented, able to navigate sensitive situations with clarity and fairness.

• You communicate complex topics clearly, confidently, and tailored to your audience.

• Fluent in German and English, with confidence at all organizational levels.

Employee Relations Specialist (m/w/d)

in Vollzeit

Als Employee Relations Specialist r bist du zentrale Ansprechperson für Mitarbeitende und Führungskräfte in Deutschland und Polen bei arbeitsrechtlichen und personalrelevanten Fragestellungen. Du schaffst Orientierung in anspruchsvollen Situationen, triffst fundierte und faire Entscheidungen und verbindest arbeitsrechtliche Expertise mit Empathie. Dabei agierst du als vertrauensvolle Sparringspartner:in für Führungskräfte und als wichtiger Impulsgeber für die Weiterentwicklung der Employee-Relations-Strategie von AniCura – stets im Einklang mit den Fünf Mars-Prinzipien.

Deine Aufgaben: 

• Rechtssichere Bearbeitung arbeitsrechtlicher Einzelfälle, insbesondere in den Bereichen Disziplinarmaßnahmen, Kündigungen, Abmahnungen und Konfliktlösungen – unter Berücksichtigung des lokalen Arbeitsrechts sowie der Mars-Richtlinien

• Beratung von Führungskräften im Performance Management sowie Begleitung von Trennungsprozessen inklusive rechtlicher Beratung zu Kündigungen, Abfindungsregelungen und Übergangsunterstützung

• Schulung von Führungskräften zu arbeitsrechtlichen Themen

• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit internen Stakeholdern, Rechtsanwälten und Behörden zur Minimierung rechtlicher Risiken und Sicherstellung der Compliance

• Aktive Mitwirkung an Transformationsprozessen (z. B. Umstrukturierungen, M&A-Integrationen, Veränderungen von Arbeitsbedingungen) und Sicherstellung, dass diese im Einklang mit den Werten und Prinzipien von AniCura und Mars umgesetzt werden

Dein Profil:

• Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Personalwesen, Betriebswirtschaft, Recht oder einem vergleichbaren Fachgebiet oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation durch entsprechende Berufserfahrung

• Mehrjährige, fundierte Berufserfahrung in Human Resources, Employee Relations und/oder HR Business Partnering mit Schwerpunkt Arbeitsrecht

• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Stakeholdern oder einem internationalen HR-Umfeld, idealerweise mit Verantwortung für mehr als ein Land

• Proaktive, empathische Persönlichkeit mit hoher Kundenorientierung und der Fähigkeit, auch in sensiblen Situationen klar, fair und lösungsorientiert zu agieren

• Fähigkeit, komplexe Sachverhalte klar, präzise und adressatengerecht zu kommunizieren
